Duncan had a great start in 2002 at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club Shows
He won back-to-back breed wins from Mr. and Mrs. Roger R. Hartinger and finished the weekend with a Terrier Group One from noted Terrier judge Mr. Edd E. Bivin (pictured).

Although he continued to live at home and was shown on a limited basis, Duncan placed in the Terrier Group consistently throughout 2002. He is pictured above at Bee-Tex Kennel Club winning Terrier Group Two from Judge Ms. Mildred Bryant and Terrier Group Four from Judge Dr. Lee Anthony Reasin.

Duncan ended 2002 with 4 Group Ones, 1 Group Two, 1 Group Three, and 2 Group Fours. These wins, along with 13 BOB wins, earned Duncan his first invitation to the prestigious AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
